Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Prologs Solutions LLC ("Prologs," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit www.prologs.us (the "Site"), place an order, or use our ELD devices, mobile app, and web portal (the "Services"). By using the Site or Services, you agree to this Policy.
1. Who We Are and Who Is Responsible
Prologs is the brand under which we provide electronic logging devices and fleet compliance software to US motor carriers. For customer fleet data, the motor carrier customer decides which drivers and vehicles are in the Services, and we process the data on its behalf and for our own legitimate operations as described here. Contact: (630) 538-3515, info@prologs.us.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you give us when ordering or creating an account
- Company name and USDOT number.
- Contact name, job title, email address, and phone number.
- Billing and shipping addresses.
- Order details (devices, cables, quantities, shipping method) and invoice history.
- Account credentials, driver names and driver license information the carrier enters, and support communications.
2.2 Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay by card or ACH bank debit, your payment details are entered into Stripe's secure fields and sent directly to Stripe. We and Pro Solution, LLC do not store your full card number or full bank account number. We receive limited information such as card brand, last four digits, expiration date, bank name, last four digits of the account, billing ZIP code, payment status, and a token that lets us charge a saved Payment Method you have authorized. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
2.3 ELD, GPS, vehicle, and driver data from devices and apps
When Prologs devices and apps are used, we collect:
- GPS location, date and time, and movement, including background location while the app is in use for logging, even if the app is closed or not in use, as needed for FMCSA record keeping;
- Vehicle and engine data such as speed, engine hours, odometer, VIN, fuel and diagnostic data;
- Driver identification, duty status, hours of service records, logs, edits, certifications, inspections (DVIR), and unidentified driving events;
- Device identifiers, serial numbers, battery and connectivity information, app version, and mobile device information.
2.4 Information collected automatically
Log data, IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring pages, and crash or error data, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6) and third-party services such as Google Play Services and Firebase Analytics.
2.5 App permissions
The app may ask for camera access (for example to scan documents or capture inspection photos), location, notifications, and Bluetooth. You can manage permissions in your device settings, but some features and ELD recording will not work without them.
3. How We Use Information
- To process orders, ship equipment, charge payments, send invoices, and manage subscriptions (including through Pro Solution, LLC).
- To provide, activate, maintain, secure, and support the ELD Services and meet FMCSA ELD requirements.
- To communicate with you about orders, billing, service updates, and support.
- To verify identity and company information, prevent fraud, and manage risk, chargebacks, and non-payment.
- To improve and develop products using aggregated or de-identified data.
- For marketing and advertising about our Services, where permitted, and to measure campaigns.
- To comply with law and enforce our terms.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it as follows:
- Pro Solution, LLC (billing agent). Pro Solution, LLC bills and collects on behalf of Prologs, so we share company, contact, order, invoice, and payment status data with it. It uses the data to bill, collect, and handle billing support, and appears as the merchant on your statement.
- Stripe (payment processor). To process card and ACH payments and store saved Payment Methods securely.
- Shipping carriers such as UPS and FedEx, to deliver equipment (name, company, address, phone, email).
- Google (Google Maps Platform), which the Prologs app uses to display maps and location-based features under Google's own terms and privacy policy.
- Service providers that host our systems, send email, provide cloud and mobile services, analytics, customer support tools, and cellular connectivity for devices, under obligations to protect the data.
- Advertising and analytics partners, including Google (Google Analytics), as described in Section 6.
- FMCSA, law enforcement, and roadside inspectors. The ELD output file and logs are transferred to FMCSA or authorized safety officials when the driver or authorized user initiates a roadside inspection data transfer or when otherwise required by regulation.
- Your own company. Carrier administrators can see their drivers' and vehicles' data. Drivers should understand that their employer carrier has access to their logs and location.
- Legal and safety. Where required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect rights, property, safety, or to investigate fraud or abuse.
- Business transfers. In a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Payments, Saved Payment Methods, and Recurring Charges
If you authorize recurring or automatic charges, we and Pro Solution, LLC keep a Stripe token for your saved card or bank account so that monthly subscription fees and other authorized amounts can be charged. You can change or remove your Payment Method by contacting accounting@prosolutionllc.us or through your portal, as explained in our Terms of Service.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
6.1 The Site uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for: essential functions (security, load balancing, checkout); preferences; analytics (traffic and performance); and advertising and marketing.
6.2 Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics on the Site. It uses cookies to collect information about your visit (such as pages viewed, time on page, device and browser type, and approximate location) so we can measure and improve the Site. Google acts under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
6.3 Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use browser privacy tools or the Global Privacy Control signal. Blocking cookies may affect some Site functions such as checkout. We honor opt-out preference signals where required by law.
6.4 Interest-based advertising. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating advertisers at aboutads.info/choices.
7. Data Retention
We keep information as long as needed to provide the Services, process payments, meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. ELD records and supporting documents are kept for at least the period required by FMCSA (generally six months for hours-of-service records, and longer where other rules or your needs require). Order, invoice, and payment records are kept for seven (7) years for tax and accounting purposes. Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after termination to meet legal obligations. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify the data.
8. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, and use Stripe for payment data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your login credentials and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
9. Your Privacy Rights (US States)
Depending on where you live, state laws (for example in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Utah, and others) may give you the right to: know and access the personal information we hold; correct inaccurate information; delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions; obtain a portable copy; opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing of personal information; limit use of sensitive information (such as precise geolocation); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Many of these laws apply mainly to consumers and may not apply to business-to-business contacts or employment data in the same way.
To exercise your rights, email info@prologs.us or call (630) 538-3515. We may need to verify your identity. You may use an authorized agent. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and you may contact your state attorney general. Billing-record requests may be directed to accounting@prosolutionllc.us.
Drivers: if you use the app through your employer, your employer (the carrier) controls your account and records, and some requests (for example to delete logs) may need to go through your employer because federal rules require carriers to keep them.
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Use of analytics or advertising cookies may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some state laws, and you can opt out as described in Section 6.3.
10. Children's Privacy
The Site and Services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
12. Transfers
We store and process information in the United States. The Services are intended for US operations only.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy and will post the new version with a revised effective date. For material changes we will notify you by email or on the Site.
